Finding the perfect colour scheme

Good colour schemes harmonize and intensify designs, while a poor choice can make your concept fall apart. It’s not always easy to come up with the perfect colour scheme. Is there any way to make it a little easier?

There are many resources online for designers in regard to colour schemes. Some simply provide some example schemes, while others are interactive colour-picking robots. These resources are great to pick up inspiration and create more successful, cohesive colour schemes.
